A Christmas Themed Musical Evening

At this meeting our guest speaker, Luke Powers will be performing a Christmas themed program on the uilleann pipes. Luke has played the pipes since he bought his first set in 1998. He has training from renowned pipers including Jerry O'Sullivan and Ivan Goff. He has played in Symphony Space and on Hofstra Radio and Fordham Radio and in Ireland on Radio na Gaeltachta. Luke is fluent in Irish which he teaches at the Gerry Tobin School and Molloy College. Christmas will be merrier with uilleann pipes music locked into our memories! Join us on Wednesday, December 14th at the Garden City Casino. The meeting begins at 7:30pm, and is free and open to the public. Maximum attendance is 40, so arrive early to make sure you get a spot!
